Why I love November

If it were not for word of mouth back in 2006 I would have never become the writer I am today. National Novel Writing Month was introduced to me on 2 October 2006 by word of mouth alone. Once I learned about it, I knew I had to take part, I love to write, I love writing in general, and I love to read as well. So since that fateful day, I have been writing more than I had ever done.

Of course on that first run I did not win, I barely made it to 47K!! Even with a three day writeathon!

However since that first ever NaNoWriMo that I took part in I look forwards to it every single passing year. In the hopes that with each new Year, I win again and again. Last year alone I was writing upwards of 14,000 words in a single day!

I have grown as a writer, and I for one enjoy it emensly, and if others enjoy what I write, then that is very good, it just makes me want to write more!
